2023 Online Tour: Gazebo Getaway
Converted Gazebo / Spiral Staircase / Creative Irrigation
Michael began with a ‘lean-to’ catio adjacent to the house because of its simplicity and low cost. and then expanded to include a skybridge and access to a converted gazebo. Michael wanted to provide his cat, Nico, a safe outdoor space and to get the litterbox out of the house. They are currently working on getting the gazebo section finished off so that Nico can be in that area unsupervised. He currently loves spending as much time as possible out there and shows off his grace when climbing up and down the very cool spiral staircase.

The Catio Tour is part of the Cats Safe at Home™ campaign, which seeks to reduce the number of cats living outdoors in the Portland metropolitan area in a humane and environmentally responsible manner. We believe that every cat deserves a safe home where they are loved, cared for, and kept free from hazards. The Catio Tour was created to offer inspiration for those looking for ways for their cats to have safe outdoor time. We hope you enjoy this year’s Catio Tour!
